The core facilities of the XRF laboratory include various X-ray instrumentation units (X-ray detectors, signal processing units, X-ray sources), home-made and commercial, portable and benchtop XRF spectrometers (exhibiting complementary analytical performance), but also different experimental apparatus which can be attached as beamline end-stations at the INPP Tandem 5.5 MV accelerator in support of X-ray spectrometry and Ion Beam based analytical studies. The XRF laboratory includes finally a dedicated space for chemical pre-treatment of samples
