Education

Education is a significant and integral part of the the activities of the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics. These are mainly addressed to university level students at all levels, ranging from undergraduate practical training and diploma theses work, to postgraduate teaching and M.Sc. theses supervision, to the supervision of Doctoral candidates under collaboration agreements with universities in Greece and abroad. Graduate students are supervised and guided towards a PhD degree in Particle, Astroparticle and Nuclear Physics.

The researchers of INPP are actively involved in course and laboratory teaching in the following M.Sc. programs:

  • Physics and technological applications M.Sc. program of the Institute of Nuclear & Particle Physics and the departments of applied mathematics, natural sciences and mechanical engineering of NTUA.
  • Cultural Heritage Materials and Technologies” M.Sc. program of the University of Peloponnese
  • Conservation of Cultural Heritage”, Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art, University of West Attica
  • M.Sc. Interdepartmental program “Protection Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Monuments“, Faculty of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
