The 29th Annual Symposium of the Hellenic Nuclear Physics Society (HNPS)) will be held at the Conference Center of NCSR “Demokritos” on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th September 2021.
The Symposium is co-organized by the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (INPP) and Nuclear and Radiological Sciences, Technology, Energy and Safety (INRASTES) of NCSR “Demokritos”.
Due to the pandemic, the Symposium is organized in a hybrid form with on-site and remote presentations and participation.
The Symposium, organized since 1990, offers an excellent opportunity for scientists in Greece and abroad to meet and discuss their latest research activities on Theoretical and Experimental Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Astrophysics, and the applications of Nuclear Physics including but not limited to nuclear analytical techniques, nuclear technology and radiation protection, the study of radioactivity in the environment, the study of cultural heritage and biomedicine. In addition, it offers the opportunity to younger colleagues to present their scientific activities and interact with the scientific community of Nuclear Physics in Greece.
