Nikolaos Syrrakos

PhD Student

My name is Nikolaos Syrrakos and I am a PhD student currently working on calculating next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) corrections to scattering processes that are produced in high energy colliders, such as the LHC at CERN. The topic of my dissertation is the computation of two-loop Master Integrals with the method of differential equations. Following the LHC upgrade to High Luminosity-LHC, very precise theoretical predictions for scattering cross sections will be required to match the experimental accuracy, in order to determine any discrepancy between theory and experiment. A key ingredient of the required theoretical predictions is the computation of two-loop Master Integrals for the relevant scattering processes.
