On Tuesday 10/12, Prof. Platon Tinios will give a seminar on

“Planet Longevity”: Interdisciplinary Analysis of Longevity in Greece and Europe [pdf] [ppt]

The seminar will take place in the Seminar room of INPP at 12:00.

 

Dr. Platon Tinios is an economist, Associate Professor at the University of Piraeus. He studied Economics in Cambridge and Oxford. He served as Advisor to the Prime Minister between 1996 and 2004. He was the main author of the Sprau Report on Pensions. He is involved in research on insurance economics, the political economy of reforms, and in particular on aging and longevity. It has studied the introduction of three-pillar pensions as a lever for growth in Greece. She has been a member of the SHARE Greek team since 2004.
