International Conference on Frontiers in Nuclear Structure, Astrophysics and Reactions

Aegean island of Kos, Greece, September 12-17, 2005

Participants are expected to arrive on Sunday, September 11. Registration will be held on
Sunday afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00 hrs and will continue on Monday September 12 from
8:00 to 08:30.  A welcome reception (cocktail and dinner buffet) will take place on Sunday
evening at the Kipriotis Royal Pool starting from 20:00. Participants planning to attend are
kindly requested to inform the Organizing Committee at kos2005@inp.demokritos.gr.

The conference banquet will be held on Thursday Sept. 15, around the swimming pool of the
Panorama Five Star Hotel, located on the slopes of the hill just behind the conference venue.
The banquet will open with the performance of traditional folk dances by the Lykeion Hellinidwn
Folk Dance group of Kos.

The conference sessions will start on Monday morning (Sept. 12) and will end on Friday
evening (Sept. 16). For details click on Scientific Programme. A video projector will be
available for presentations in powerpoint or pdf format, as well as an overhead projector
for transparencies. Posters will be hanged on arrival and remain in view throughout the conference.
The poster session will be held on Monday 12 September and will be accompanied by wine and cheese.

On Wednesday Sept. 14, a one-day cruise to the Island of Apocalypses, Patmos will take place.
A limited number of seats is available (115), so participants are asked to sign in by contacting
kos2005@inp.demokritos.gr. The cost p.p. is 38 Euros (Flying Dolphin, bus, museum entrance, tour guide).
