Home | Topics FINUSTAR aims at covering a wide spectrum of research activities, both theoretical and experimental, in nuclear structure, nuclear astrophysics and nuclear reactions. Though these research directions refer to different sub-communities of nuclear physicists, the interplay between these fields has been strengthened over the last years mainly by the utilization of common instrumentation and research facilities. It is therefore of outermost importance to bring researchers from these scientific "brotherhoods" in close contact in order to a) discuss common problems, b) present recent results, c) get informed about the latest developments in theory as well as about the most recent achievements in instrumentation. To meet these goals and furthermore initiate interdisciplinary collaborations, FINUSTAR will cover the following scientific topics:
