Workshop on
European Small-Scale Accelerator Facilities

Aghios Nikolaos, Crete, Greece, September 7-8, 2007

NuPECC has established a working group on European small-scale facilities (SSF-WG), which has performed a survey on the activities and scientific potential of these facilities. As a first step towards the preparation of the community involved with SSFs to respond to calls of the upcoming 7th Framework Programme of the EU, SSF-WG proposed to organize the first workshop on “European Small-Scale Accelerator Facilities” with the support of NuPECC. The aim of this workshop is to bring together scientists from all European small-scale accelerator facilities to discuss common research projects and ideas that could result in forming new scientific networks or extending existing ones. The nuclear physics areas to be covered by this workshop are

- Nuclear Astrophysics,
- Nuclear Structure,
- Microprobes for various applications.

Scientists interested in participating and contributing to the aims of the workshop should contact the corresponding conveners.
