2nd International Conference on
Frontiers in Nuclear Structure, Astrophysics and Reactions
Aghios Nikolaos, Crete, Greece, September 10-14, 2007
Participants are expected to arrive on Sunday, September 9. Registration will be held on Sunday afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00 hrs and will continue on Monday September 10 from 8:00 to 08:30. A welcome reception (cocktail and snack buffet) will take place on Sunday evening at the Mirabello Beach Hotel starting from 20:00. Participants planning to attend are kindly requested to inform the Organizing Committee at finustar2@inp.demokritos.gr.
The conference banquet will be held on Thursday September 13, around the swimming pool of the Mirabello Beach Hotel. The banquet will open with the performance of traditional cretan folk dances by a cretan dance group.
The conference sessions will start on Monday morning (Sept. 10) and will end on Friday evening (Sept. 14). A video projector will be available for presentations in powerpoint or pdf format, as well as an overhead projector for transparencies. Posters will be hanged on arrival and remain in view throughout the conference. The poster session will be held on Monday September 10 and will be accompanied by wine and cheese.
On Wednesday September 12 lectures end at lunchtime and the rest of the day is off.
