2nd International Conference on
Frontiers in Nuclear Structure, Astrophysics and Reactions
Aghios Nikolaos, Crete, Greece, September 10-14, 2007
In light of the enthusiastic response of the international nuclear physics community to the International conference entitled "Frontiers In NUclear STructure, Astrophysics and Reactions" (FINUSTAR), we are organizing the second one of the series, FINUSTAR-2, at Aghios Nikolaos, Crete, on September 10-14, 2007. Like the previous conference, FINUSTAR-2 aims at covering a wide spectrum of research activities, both theoretical and experimental, in nuclear structure, nuclear astrophysics and nuclear reactions, that have been interfering strongly over the last years mainly by the utilization of common instrumentation and research facilities.
The conference will be held at the Iberostar Mirabello Beach Hotel and Village located on the northern coast of Crete, 2 Km north of the town of Aghios Nikolaos and about 70 Km east of the capital city of Heraklion. The conference will start on Monday morning (September 10) and end on Friday afternoon (September 14). A welcome reception will take place on Sunday evening, September 9. The conference banquet will be held on Thursday evening, September 13. The proceedings of the conference will be published and the name of the publisher will be announced soon.
