"Measurements of group velocity of light in the lake Baikal water"

     The dispersion of light is an important phenomenon for deep underwater neutrino telescopes and should be taken into account for correct interpretation of their experimental data. The results of the first measurements of light group velocity at three wavelengths carried out at the lake Baikal at the site of NT-200 neutrino telescope are presented.
     The experimental results are in rather good agreement with theoretical calculations.
