Design of BTeV RICH and its expected performance

     The BTeV collaboration is planning to construct a dual-radiator RICH detector. Cerenkov photons from the gaseous radiator (C4F10) will be focused by spherical mirrors onto arrays of HPDs. A proximity-focus and conventional PMTs will be employed to detect Cerenkov photons produced in the liquid radiator (C5FF12) placed in front of the gaseous radiator. We present technical details of the design of the detector and report simulation results on its performance.
