Research Team and the cooperating/collaborating and Organizations selection rationale

The core research team includes four researchers of INPP/ NCSR “Demokritos: Dr. S. Harissopulos, Director of Research, ex-Director of INPP and Scientist in Charge of the Tandem Accelerator Laboratory; Dr. A. Lagoyannis, Senior Researcher, in Charge of the Tandem operation; Dr. M. Axiotis, Staff Researcher, responsible for the maintenance of detectors, exp. setups and nuclear electronics; and Dr. P. Dimitriou, Senior Researcher, an expert in nuclear reaction theory with more than 25 year-long experience in HF calculations and code development. She will coordinate WP3. The core team members have intensively and very fruitfully been collaborating for more than 15 years on diverse nuclear physics research topics, including nuclear structure, nuclear astrophysics and on various applications of ion beams. Dr. S. Harissopulos (PI) will coordinate WP1; Dr. A. Lagoyannis and Dr. M. Axiotis will be coordinating WP2 and WP4, respectively.
